Voice Over in the Southeast
BRAD DAVIDORF – MODERATOR
Brad has been a full time vo guy for over 20 years, and has voice hundreds of promos, tv and radio spots, narration and the assorted character for clients all over the country and beyond. In 2016, Brad founded BackTalkers Loop Group that serves the post production market in the Southeast. BackTalkers is the first loop group in the region providing professional actors trained in improvisation for film, television, and video games. Backtalkers recently finished working on Will Packer’s new BET Show, Bigger, and has lent their voices to movies such as Christmas Everlasting, The Oscar Pistorius Story, Christmas at Graceland and others.
As a Voice Talent, Brad has both launched and shut down a few networks: ESPNU, Spike TV and Planet Green were launches. Universal Sports Network was an unfortunate shut down. Brad was the longtime “Very funny” voice of TBS, the in-show announcer for Dr. Oz for a couple of seasons and the energetic Six Flags guy for many years. Brad is currently heard on CNN, HLN, UPTV, AMC and radio stations from coast to coast. He has narrated documentary series for Animal Planet, Nat Geo Wild, CMT and others and is the voice of Sargent Joseph Hero in the upcoming animated show, Dollar Toy Squad.
Gideon grew up in Boulder and has a film degree from the University of Colorado. His first job in Atlanta was as a sound designer at Crawford Communications. He left post-production to try his hand as a producer, eventually landing a gig at GameTap, Turner Broadcasting’s now defunct online video game portal. He has made the rounds of the Atlanta ad agencies since 2008, and is currently a Sr. Producer at Fitzco, where he has worked since 2012. In his spare time Gideon coaches his kids’ baseball teams and mixes sound for their school plays, and goes to as many Phish shows as possible.
Rhavynn Drummer is an Atlanta based Director, Producer, and Casting Director who has always had a love for actors and great performances. She began her career in casting at Tyler Perry Studios. While working at the studio she has participated in the casting of fifteen feature films, eight television series, and seven theatrical productions. She has had the privilege of working on projects like “The Family that Preys,” “Why did I Get Married Too?” “The Marriage Counselor” and the most recent television series’ “The Haves and The Have Nots” and “If Loving You is Wrong” currently on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Rhavynn graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Theater and American Studies. During her time at UVA she re-started the Paul Robeson Players, a theater company focused on producing African-American stories and experiences.

Heidi Rew began her voiceover career while in radio but left years ago to pursue it full-time. Her husband Mike Stoudt is also a voice actor and they own Atlanta Voiceover Studio. Atlanta Voiceover Studio offers audition recordings, professional recordings, classes, workshops and demos. Their mission is to ELEVATE, EQUIP and INSPIRE the Atlanta market. Heidi has voiced spots for Jiffy Lube, Belk, Walgreens, CHOA, Baskin Robbins, Ford, Food Network & Baby Einstein. She currently has campaigns running for GE and AutoNation.
John Roberts is founder of Soundbyte Inc., a nationally acclaimed audio/music facility celebrating over 20 years of continued success. He’s an award winning sound designer, composer and music producer, and leads a talented creative team currently focused on projects with NBA2K league, Archer” (FX TV), The Elf on the Shelf Franchise, “Dollar Toy Squad”/Nickelodeon, Local Now/Weather Channel, Ford (GTB), Rallys & Checkers (Fitzco), Delta Airlines(Moxie), and Coca Cola. He has recorded with Reese Witherspoon, Jon Hamm, Millie Bobby Brown, Zach Galifianakis and Bradley Cooper. John’s passion lies in discovering up-and-coming talent and training them to soar in Atlanta’s dynamic audio scene.
Jeffrey Umberger, founder and former owner of the prestigious Umberger Agency, has just joined the powerhouse team at ACM Talent of New York and LA as talent manager, expanding ACM with a robust Atlanta office, and bringing with him an impeccable reputation in the voiceover industry as an effective and impassioned advocate for all performers. He began acting in 1983, later transitioning to a more behind-the-scenes career beginning in commercial casting and as a casting producer for television, film, and advertising. He has also voice consulted for on-air talent at CNN and NPR. Jeffrey’s talent roster includes industry notables Louis Gossett, Jr., Jasmine Guy, NBC Today Show announcer Rafael Ferrer, Dee Wallace (E.T.), and Tony Dow of Leave it to Beaver.
