Trish Taylor has served on GPP’s Executive Board as Past President (2018 & 2019) after a two-year stent as Co-President and four years as Vice President (2012 to 2018). She also worked as PR Director for two years on the board of Women In Film & TV Atlanta and is a former Business Manager at the Atlanta Film Festival for two sessions. She currently works as a Freelance Corporate & Film Producer and has credits as a Production Office Coordinator, Production Coordinator, Production Accounting Clerk, Locations Assistant, Project Manager, Production Assistant and Event Coordinator. As an Atlanta actress and VO talent, Trish is represented by The People Store Talent Agency. She also owns her own Marketing and Public Relations Consulting business; and is Co-Owner of Bird Dance Productions with her husband Richard.

Peter Stathopoulos has been featured on many of GPP’s previous panels as the is a Partner and leads Bennett Thrasher’s State and Local Tax practice. Peter has been practicing in the area of state and local taxation and economic development incentives since 1993. Peter has extensive experience in helping clients reduce their effective state tax rates through multistate tax planning and in resolving state tax controversies from the audit level through litigation in state trial and appellate courts.

Peter has worked closely with state tax and economic development policy makers to represent the business community’s interests. In 2008, Peter helped draft a portion of the Georgia Entertainment Industry Investment Act as well as legislation that expanded a variety of Georgia tax credits to apply to the broadcasting industry. In 2002, Mr. Stathopoulos co-chaired a joint Georgia Department of Revenue/State Bar of Georgia committee that help draft Georgia’s current consolidated income tax return regulations. In 2001, Mr. Stathopoulos served on the executive committee of the Business Council of Alabama that helped draft Alabama’s privilege tax scheme. In 1995, Mr. Stathopoulos was a tax policy attorney with the Georgia Department of Revenue and led the drafting of regulations for many of Georgia’s current tax credits and acted as a liaison with the Governor’s Economic Development Council.

Allen Fox is a consultant, spokesperson and corporate coalition founder with experience in corporate communications, change management, government leadership, and nonprofit consulting.

Public affairs and communications experience include successfully forming a coalition of 700+ Fortune 1000 companies devoted to pro-business legislation and initiatives in the state of Georgia. Worked with c-suite leadership at top Atlanta corporations to develop strategic business plans and public relations campaigns that thwarted anti-jobs legislation. Successfully partnered with non-profit organizations and bi-partisan political leaders such as chambers of commerce, state political parties and US Senators. Created unconventional alliances that drove unified results successfully for 3 different campaigns involving business climate legislation.

Management of media campaign while working as a founder and spokesperson include controlling a $1 million annual budget and direct oversight of contracts, fundraising and compliance. Budget creation experience extends to developing $20 billion budget that reflected key priorities of a state gubernatorial administration and writing strategic budgetary plans for all 160 state government agencies. Developed centralized communication platform and served as spokesperson for several nonprofits and Georgia Prospers. Appeared in multiple media platforms, including television, to discuss key strategic initiatives.

Previous work also includes campaigning and policy advising for Governors and US Senators. Community involvement includes serving as the “Young Professionals Director” for a 2012 Presidential campaign. Volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America. Received Masters in Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009. Completed a Bachelor’s at Furman University in 2005, including a summer program at the London School of Economics.

Kristy Clabaugh is a Certified Public Accountant at Element and has 15+ years’ experience in providing accounting, tax and advisory services to businesses and high net worth individuals.  Kristy is motivated by working with clients to minimize taxes at both the state and federal levels. Kristy also has developed expertise in advising start-ups on structuring, budgeting and implementing and meeting strategic goals.  Kristy serves on the executive board of directors as Treasurer for both the Georgia Production Partnership and Women in Film & Television Atlanta. She is also a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

John Thomas is a Certified Public Accountant at Element and holds a Master of Accountancy as well as a Master of Businesses administration, both earned at Mercer University.  John has long served closely held corporations and high net worth individuals by providing accounting, tax, advisory and consulting services.  John is driven by helping his clients implement strategies that cultivate growth in their businesses as well as building value by opening doors for their further development.  John is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Rebecca (Becky) Harshberger is the VP of Payroll Tax at Entertainment Partners (EP) in Burbank, California.  EP is the back office for the motion picture and television industry, providing payroll and film incentive management as well as software that most of the industry uses for budgeting, scheduling, accounting, and document management.   Considered an expert in State and Federal Payroll Taxation, for the last 16 years, Becky has provided Tax guidance for US employees working on motion picture and television productions in both the US and around the globe at Entertainment Partners. She is responsible for employment tax, information tax and legislative changes.  Previously she was a Senior Manager, at both Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers National Payroll/Employment Tax Practice’s in Los Angeles.  Prior to her employment in public accounting, Ms. Harshberger held positions in unemployment claims/payroll tax consulting, human resources and recruiting at both private and public companies.

She recently joined the America Payroll Association (APA) National Board of Directors as a Vice President, has served on APA’s National Speakers Bureau since 2011 and Co-Chairs the APA Government Affairs subcommittee focused on IRS issues since its inception in 2014.

From 2011 through 2014, she served as Chair, Employees Benefits and Payroll Subgroup, for the IRS Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee (IRPAC) representing the Entertainment Industry and the APA.

In 2020, she was awarded the APA Special Recognition Award for her contributions to the advancement of the Payroll Profession and was named the California Payroll Professional of the Year in 2014. A Certified Payroll Professional since 1999, she has taught the Greater Los Angeles Chapter CPP prep course every summer since 2000.

Christina Moore has experience in transactions involving real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including transactions involving apartment complexes, real estate and related-asset secured loans and other complex credit facility transactions. Ms. Moore represents developers, borrowers and lenders in the acquisition, development, financing and leasing of transactions involving multifamily, office, retail and industrial real estate development. She performs title, survey and site plan review, drafting of governing documents, real estate closings, and loan modifications and closings. She also advises clients in multi-family leasing and residential real estate matters, including those involving condominiums and homeowners associations, property management and regulatory issues. Many transactions she works on involve land use, zoning, permitting and redevelopment matters, which she handles in the course of the transaction or independent of the transaction.

Bryan F. Jacoutot is an attorney practicing in the firm’s Employment Law and Election Law Departments. Mr. Jacoutot’s employment law practice consists of advising a wide variety of clients, from single office start-ups to larger companies with a nationwide presence. As a result, he is well versed in employment laws at both the state and federal level. For his clients, Mr. Jacoutot brings a strong background in both administrative law and constitutional law, facilitating a more holistic approach to analyzing the legal issues confronting employers in the modern workplace. Mr.

Mr. Jacoutot also represents state and local government clients on a variety of election law issues. Among other things, Mr. Jacoutot advises governments on claims related to constitutional law violations, voting rights, and other election related contests including re-districting and gerrymandering issues.

Through his work in employment and election law, Mr. Jacoutot has guided clients through all aspects of the litigation process. Mr. Jacoutot received his undergraduate degree in History from Auburn University, and his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law. He is licensed to practice in Georgia and is admitted to all state courts. Additionally, Mr. Jacoutot is admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
